Stained Glass: Basics and Beyond

Workshop dates: July 14-July 20, 2019
Ghost Ranch Center, Abiquiu, New Mexico

Spend five days with in a stained glass course that will introduce you to all facets of the craft. Combining ancient and modern ways of working with stained glass, you will first develop your own unique design, then using copper foil assembling processes, glass fusing for texture and paints for detail, build your own glass panel. No experience is necessary; the class is open to students of all levels, ages 14 and up. Groups are welcomed. We provide all materials and tools. A broad selection of colorful antique and contemporary colored glass is available, although students are welcome to bring their own. If your House of Worship or community meeting center needs a new stained glass window, this class is a wonderful place to create meaningful art work.
