ACGA ARTIST OF THE MONTH
LISA FLEMING
I am a ceramic artist in San Francisco and work in porcelain clay, on the wheel. I fire to about 2270 degrees with a slow cool. I make all my own glazes in my studio from recipes I have found and tested over time. I love to experiment with glaze and I am always learning.
My inspirations are mid-century Scandinavian ceramics and the wood forms of Bob Stocksdale who was a wood turner in Berkeley, CA.
