Anagama Head is going to the NCECA Volumes Conference in Detroit!! The anagama wood-firing process is intensely collaborative, which is why I chose this piece for “The Color Network: Family Album” show about intergenerational mentorship between established and early-career ceramic artists of color. It was fired by Nick Schwartz in the anagama kiln at Cider Creek in Albion, California.
