Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California

The mission of the Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California (ACGA) is to raise awareness of ceramic and glass artists, encourage community among our members, and promote understanding and appreciation of clay and glass arts.

Founded in 1945 as the Association of San Francisco Potters, ACGA has grown into a statewide organization of more than 350 members—including clay and glass artists, students, collectors, galleries, and supporters. ACGA offers members opportunities to exhibit and promote their work through juried exhibitions and museum and gallery shows, to learn, and to build professional relationships throughout the field. The ACGA Clay and Glass Festival, held each July at the Palo Alto Art Center, is the organization’s flagship event.
