I have worked with glass in one form or another since the mid 70's. Glass continues to challenge my creativity working within the constraints of the medium while expressing the influences around me. I have a BFA from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelpia in glass and recently was interviewed on the SVOS sponsored program "Talk Art".

Narrative

I am a maker of unique patterned glass using primarily glass powders. I don't consider myself a "fuser" but I do heat glass in the kiln. My influences are from the coastline and the redwood forest. I express this connection by working intuitively with color, line and texture in an abstract approach yet technically controlling the material using the principles of art and design.
