I am a ceramic artist, living and working in San Rafael. My art is influenced by my innate love of all flora and fauna. A native of New York City, the close proximity to many wonderful museums and parks nourished my love of art at an early age. Birdwatching, a favorite past time, is reflected in many of my ceramic pieces.

Narrative

I have been exploring imagery on clay and it has been an exciting addition to my current work. I use techniques including screen printing, and several types of decals; photo, china paint and underglaze decals. I fire my ceramic pieces at both low fire and mid range temperatures depending on the piece and its use.
