Narrative
Jeannine has been a working studio potter for over 40 years creating thrown decorative and functional stoneware in a floral Japanesque style. Her pieces are reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements and blend a highly glazed slip decoration against a rich stoneware surface. Inspiration comes from her tranquil flower garden and trips to Japan. She prefers to sell directly to her customers from her Santa Cruz home studio, ETSY e-line store and at select art shows in the Bay area.
