Everything I'm thinking about right now relates to my love of the Arbol de la Vida--Tree of Life and its abundance of flowers, birds, fruits, leaves, branches. I feel like a contemporary folk artist playing with pattern design, flowers, sculpted elements, all enveloped in delicious creamy majolica glaze and colorful overglazes. Terra cotta clay is letting me make the sculptural forms that I want.
