Raised in Chicago, I studied Ceramics & Art Ed at Southern Illinois University with Nicholas Vergette & Design with Buckminster Fuller, Ceramics & Art Ed at San Francisco State University. I co-owned New Details for 12 years, a ceramic studio & gallery in San Francisco; currently I am a member of the Berkeley Potters Guild. I offer yoga/ clay workshops, and custom designed children’s summer art camps.

Narrative

Passionate about clay and bringing beauty into everyday life through functional ceramics and ceramic jewelry, I currently work in a cone 5 clay body. Using the surface as my canvas, I specialize in Asian brushwork with sophisticated color, also using the techniques of mishima and sgraffito. Beauty heals, bringing joyful impressions to our beings.
