I create hand thrown and hand built decorative and functional wares. I fire to Cone 6 and use a variety of the finest commercial glazes and underglazes that are made in the USA. I do custom orders and the customer is part of the creativity, i.e., invited in during the creating process so the customer is there for any alterations of the pieces. Contact me for wonderful new work that I am making.

Narrative

I was attracted to clay as a child, digging up San Francisco Bay Mud from my parent's backyard. I would make pinch pots and dry them in the sun. At 14, I discovered the Potter's Wheel, and my love of clay has been a life long journey. I retired from teaching ESL from City College of San Francisco, and my mud SELF has just exploded. My exploration of clay has gone to a much higher level than I could have ever done before as now I have the time and energy. After over 52 years in clay, it never ceases to amaze me of the never ending creativity that clay provides for me.
