ACGA ARTIST

For 25 years I have been creating hand built utilitarian ceramics in the Arts and Crafts mode. The design work of Architects Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Greene brothers clearly influence my work. I make wooden forms over which the clay is pressed with a result of very linear shapes. Bowls on the other hand are formed using plaster and ceramic bisque molds. I also often use flowers and leaves for design which may look like decals, but they are not!!!
