Mila Vovk is a contemporary sculptor and installation artist based in California. Born in Dresden and raised in Kazakhstan, she immigrated to the United States in 2014. Her work explores liminality, instability, memory, and transitional states. Vovk holds an MFA from Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in South Korea, Portugal, Spain, France, and the United States, and is held in the collection of the Aveiro Biennial Museum.
