Born in Japan, my childhood memories as well as the natural surroundings of living in Aptos inspire my work. I strive to work in detail to reflect the perceptions and awareness of the beauty of nature, rhythm of the season, and the sense of space. I am happiest when my practice of creation brings joy and comfort to our everyday lives.
